Because when parents stop worrying about the next meal, kids stop worrying too. They focus in class. They dream bigger. Families breathe easier and plan further ahead.

We recently celebrated an unforgettable International Youth Day with our incredible partners, EBC Financial Group!

From inspiring our young entrepreneurs at our Small Business Graduation with key financial management skills, to sharing an afternoon of sports, games, and laughter with over 250 children in our Saturday Child Development Programme—it was a day full of pure joy and hope.

To top it all off, we planted three protected trees together, symbolizing our shared commitment to nurturing both our youth and our environment.

A huge thank you to EBC Kenya for their generous support, including cash donations, food packages for 15 local families, school stationery, snacks, and trees! Together, we are building a brighter, stronger future for the next generation.

Taking it back to where it all began!

In 2008, just two years after founding our organization in 2006, we hosted our very first summer camp at City Prime Academy in Ngando—the same place we still call home for our Saturday program today.

What a time it was! Who remembers the legendary sack races and team games where everyone ended up tumbling into a pile of giggles? The kids ran until their shoes came off, lost their voices during cheer battles, and made lifelong friends over shared snacks. The grounds were overflowing with belly laughs and pure joy.

While our camps have grown bigger and better over the years, those early sunny afternoons in Ngando set the tone for everything we do today and hold a deeply special place in our hearts.

We were delighted to host Shari, Sam, and Leonard, the founders of the Amboseli Children’s Fund, at our foundation recently.

It was a fantastic opportunity to exchange insights on our holistic approach to youth empowerment—from education and comprehensive case management to preparing students for successful transitions into employment and independent adulthood. Sharing how our refined case management model delivers targeted support for every child’s unique journey highlighted the incredible value of learning from one another.

Last Friday, our students had an incredible time exploring the future of innovation at the 9th National Science and Technology Exhibition, hosted by Young scientists kenya

From dive-ins into creative STEM projects built by young innovators across the country to taking part in the interactive Exhibition Treasure Hunt, our kids were truly inspired by this year’s theme: “Shaping Kenya’s AI Future Using STEM.”

It was an unforgettable day packed with learning, problem-solving, and celebrating the brilliant minds driving Kenya’s technological future forward. We are so proud of our young thinkers for jumping right into the action and discovering what’s possible when curiosity meets technology!

: Where it all began.

In 2007—just one year after we officially founded our organization—we gathered our very first group of students for our very first Saturday program. Back then, it was simple: a small group meeting up to share a modest lunch, enjoy some fun activities, and build a safe space where everyone belonged.

Looking at these photos, it’s incredible to see how far love, community, and dedication can take you.

Today, that humble Saturday gathering has grown into something bigger than we ever dreamed. Our Saturdays are now packed with vibrant, specialized clubs, expanded activities, and—yes—a much bigger and better lunch menu!
