Behind every report card is a child’s real story.

Last week, our primary department case managers visited schools across our community to check in on our students—listening to their progress, understanding their needs, and ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.

Because looking after a child means caring for their whole life, not just their grades.

“You cannot dream about tomorrow when you are not even sure you will be in the classroom today.”

Growing up in Dagoretti, Sallyanne faced an exhausting daily walk to school on an empty stomach, constantly terrified of being sent home for unpaid fees. Everything shifted in 2009 when her family joined our foundation—removing the financial burden and letting her talent shine.

Sallyanne didn’t just succeed; she made history. In 2022, she became the first student in our program to graduate with First Class Honours from Kabarak University! 🎓✨

Through our Techmates program, she launched her career as a Digital Marketing Strategist at Oracom Group Oracom Group . Things came full circle when she nominated our organization for the Top Digitally Fit Foundation (DIGITALLY FIT AWARDS EAST AFRICA by KEOnline )award—standing proud alongside our director, Kelvin, to accept it in front of industry leaders.

From fearing the classroom door to leading in corporate boardrooms, Sallyanne proves that poverty never limits potential when young people are given belief, love, and opportunity.

Nothing is more exciting than seeing students who are eager to learn, listen, and participate every single day! 📚✨

Education remains the core pillar of our organization. When young minds are given the tools, mentorship, and safe environment they need to thrive, their enthusiasm in the classroom speaks for itself.

Moments like these remind us of the lasting impact we are building together—one lesson, one student, and one bright future at a time.
Thank you to our sponsors, partners, and community for making quality education possible for every child under our care.

Where you start in life never defines where you finish. ✨

In 2008, 11-year-old Leonard joined our program with big dreams but limited opportunities. Through education, mentorship, and a spark for technology, he discovered his passion for creative storytelling—and built his own brand, Lens Image! 📸

Today, Leonard works as a professional photographer and videographer. The best part? He regularly returns to capture our youth camps, sports days, and community events, using his lens to highlight the next generation walking in his footsteps.

“Ngong Road built my foundation, but it taught me a vital lesson: an opportunity is only the starting point; what you choose to do with it defines your life.”

A day of fun, connection, and real community impact!

We were thrilled to host the Quality Meat Packers Kenya team at City Prime Academy for a special corporate social responsibility engagement with 150 of our youth.

The QMP team went far beyond donations—they spent the day playing games, serving lunch, and building direct connections with the children. Their staff also generously donated food aid, essential hygiene supplies, stationery, and clothing to support our students’ daily lives and education.

A massive thank you to QMP Kenya for giving your time, energy, and presence to our young people!

✨ Letting Kids Be Kids! ✨

Saturdays at Ngong Road are all about laughter, play, and creating space for childhood to shine! From chasing footballs across the green field to jumping rope under the blue sky, running balloon races, sharing popsicles, and digging into delicious meals with friends—our Saturday program gives our children a safe place to simply play, grow, and be themselves.

Beyond academics, we believe every child deserves moments of pure joy, freedom, and friendship. Watching their faces light up as they play side by side reminds us why these moments matter so much.

Thank you to everyone in our community who makes these joyful Saturdays possible!

A Day of Learning, Connection & Pure Joy!

On Saturday, 19 September, our hearts were overflowing as we welcomed 44 incredible volunteers from Strathmore Community Service Centre to join 150 of our students at City Prime Academy for a truly unforgettable day of community service.

Every moment of the day was filled with warmth, hope, and shared smiles:

🍲 A Meal Prepared with Love – The Strathmore team rolled up their sleeves and cooked a delicious feast, serving more than just food—they served comfort and togetherness.
🎓 Guiding Tomorrow’s Leaders – Our Junior Secondary School (JSS) students enjoyed meaningful career mentorship sessions, asking big questions and unlocking new dreams for their futures.
⚽ Laughter, Games & Play – The afternoon brought high energy, friendly games, and non-stop laughter as volunteers and students played side by side.
🎁 Essential Gifts of Care – Strathmore further blessed our children with vital food aid and hygiene packs, ensuring their daily needs were met with dignity.

To the entire Strathmore Community Service Centre team: thank you for bringing your energy, generosity, and hearts to our children. When a community comes together with love, incredible transformations happen.

We are deeply grateful for this beautiful partnership and can’t wait to create even more magic together!
