Hope for all humanity "HAH" Hope For All Humanity (HAH) is a refugee-led and community based organization legally registered in Kenya and South Kordofan, Sudan.

We promote health, education, environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, and peace, building resilient communities About the founder

My name is Alkiss Kamal Tuwer Musa. A Sudanese by nationality, living in Kakuma refugee camp, northern Kenya, as a refugee. I was born and grew up in the Nuba Mountain region in central Sudan in the late 1990s and early 2000s. I became a refugee at a very young age. Passionate about sustainable development, nature, and quality education. About the organization

Hope for all humanity, known as HAH, was formed in 2019 by young, educated Nubian refugees living in Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, Arua refugee camp in Uganda, and Ajoung Thonk refugee camp in South Sudan. It is a community based organization that was formed to serve the following purposes:
 Quality education
 Gender equity
 Sustainable farming
 Economic empowerment and capacity building
 Sustainable development
 Women and girl right
 Access to clean water
 Quality health services
 Environmental conservation
 Green energy
Our main focus areas are in the two marginalized regions in Sudan, South Kordufan (Nuba Mountain) and Blue Nile. These two regions have been marginalized for decades, including many regions in Darfur too. We came up with this initiative to advocate for the poor people living in these regions and also to let the world know that some people in different corners of the world still find it hard to go to school and to access basic needs like clean water, health services, and freedom, among other things. About the two regions

Nuba Mountain and Blue Nile are two different states in Sudan that have been marginalized for many decades due to political grounding in Sudan and the ethnicity of the people living in the regions. In 2011, the Khartoum government banned all humanitarian aid in the two regions, leaving
The residents are at the mercy of wild food and what nature can offer. It was such a tragedy, and a conflict or war erupted in the sequence of months that led to hundreds of thousands of deaths and millions fleeing the region to neighboring countries like South Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Egypt, and Ethiopia. Thanks to the international communities and NGOs, that have taken care of these people to date. What you can do for us

Due to the ban on NGOs in the two regions by the Khartoum government, we, the founders and members of HAH, who are the children of these two regions, have acquired the necessary education and skills to develop our regions and communities. We have been to different refugee camps in different countries, and these have given us the opportunity to learn and acquire the necessary skills to go back home and develop our region. What we have is not only the resource, but also not all the resource, as we have the ability to mobilize and use the local available resource. We request that you support us with any of the following:
 Books of any kind and syllabus
 Stationaries, e.g., pens, writing books, rubbers, rulers, bags, etc.
 Farming tools and equipment, e.g., hoe, folk, rake, panga, slashers. Tractors, etc.
 Water e.g. cans, pipes lines, taps, pumpers, etc.
 Hospital equipment, e.g. medicine, oxygen tubes, emergency boxes, beds, ambulances, etc.
 Hospitality e.g. clothes, school uniforms, shoes, sanitary pads, school bags, etc.
 Capacity building, e.g., tailoring machines, timbers, etc.
 Electronic gadgets, e.g. laptops, tablets, smart phones, computers, cameras, internet, etc.
 Funds, e.g., grants, donations, etc. Who can help/support us?

• Private and public companies

Everyone has a story. Here's part of mine.

Elven years ago, I arrived at Kakuma Refugee Camp with uncertainty about my future. Today, I choose not to let my past define me. Instead, I let it fuel my purpose.

Through Hope For All Humanity (HAH), I have had the privilege of working with young people, women, and vulnerable families, promoting education, health awareness, entrepreneurship, and hope. Every life we touch reminds me that even the smallest act of kindness can create lasting change.

I believe that where you start in life does not determine where you can go. With determination, learning, and service, impossible dreams can become reality.

If my journey inspires you, I invite you to join this community. Follow my page for stories of resilience, leadership, community development, and opportunities that empower people to build a better future.

Tell me in the comments: What challenge have you overcome that made you stronger? I'd love to hear your story.

Celebrating World Refugee Day 2026 – Until Everyone Is Safe
Today, on World Refugee Day 2026, we stand together to honor the courage, resilience, and determination of millions of refugees around the world.
At Hope For All Humanity (HAH) in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya, we celebrate not only survival but also leadership, innovation, and community transformation. Refugees are not defined by displacement; they are educators, entrepreneurs, farmers, peacebuilders, and changemakers working every day to create a better future.
This year's theme, “Until Everyone Is Safe,” reminds us that safety, dignity, education, and opportunity are rights that every human being deserves. Through education, skills development, humanitarian assistance, peacebuilding, economic empowerment, and community development projects, we continue to build stronger and more resilient communities.
Today, we renew our commitment to empower vulnerable communities, inspire hope, and create sustainable opportunities that transform lives.
To every refugee across the world: your story matters, your voice matters, and your contributions matter.
Together, we can build a future where everyone has the chance to live with dignity, opportunity, and hope.
❤️ We are refugees. We are leaders. We are builders of a better future.

Fighting Hunger with Hope and Innovation in Kakuma
At Hope for All Humanity (HAH), we believe that lasting change begins with empowering communities to stand strong against challenges. In the Kakuma Refugee Camp, where food insecurity continues to affect many families, we are taking action through smart agriculture and resilience-building initiatives.
Our gardens are more than just spaces for growing food, they are symbols of hope, dignity, and self-reliance. By introducing climate-smart farming techniques, water-efficient practices, and sustainable gardening methods, we are equipping households with the skills and tools they need to produce their own nutritious food.
Through these efforts, families are not only able to feed themselves but also build resilience against future shocks. We are seeing transformation, green spaces where there was once dryness, and smiles where there was once uncertainty.
This journey is made possible by the dedication of our team, volunteers, and the community members who continue to believe in a better future. Together, we are planting seeds of change that will nourish generations to come.
Let us continue to support, uplift, and grow, because hope grows where action is taken.
