Remarks on the then KU-GEMA Executive Committee:
The Chairman, Kiruthi Wambui, who is currently practicing teaching; the Secretary General, Marvich, who has recently graduated and is aspiring to be the Murang’a Governor in 2027; and the Vice Chairperson, who is currently in business.

History is important for every organisation to flourish. This team worked tirelessly to merge all our counties and ensure they operated in harmony.

The team takes credit for drafting the KU-GEMA Constitution, an important document that guides our yearly activities.

Their tenure is remembered by many for strong mobilisation skills and excellent event planning.

They successfully organised a football tournament, leadership summit, men’s conference, ladies’ talk, CSR event at Kandara Children’s Home, fun days, first-years’ induction, lobbied for fees, and connected comrades to jobs and political gigs.

As we move forward as a community, we applaud this team for their dedication and service.

It is high time we, as members, aspire to leave our own footprints in the KU-GEMA history book.
