Under our Bakee Mtaani initiative, we're transforming public spaces into safe, accessible places where young people can play, grow, and connect. Seeing this court in full use is a reminder of why this work matters because when we invest in spaces, we invest in people.

Meet AFTERMATH a group of go-getters from Dandora who turned a simple idea into a thriving poultry enterprise through our Jenga Bizna Mtaani program!

Today, the group hatches its own eggs, breeds chickens in-house, and sells fully-grown poultry creating a sustainable income stream and real employment opportunities for its members. What started as a small venture is now a model of what's possible when passion meets the right support.

Meet the Baghdad group a hardworking team in Mathare who've long been in the agribusiness game. Through our Jenga Bizna Mtaani program, we donated tower gardens to help them scale up their operations and boost their earning potential.

Fast forward to today the group is now harvesting fresh, healthy crops ready for sale! 🥬🍅 This is what community-driven empowerment looks like: practical support that turns hustle into sustainable income.

Growing Opportunities, Building Sustainable Futures 🐇🌱

At the Jonathan Jackson Foundation, we believe that lasting change begins by empowering communities with opportunities that create sustainable livelihoods.

We recently had the privilege of revisiting Royal Priesthood Youth Group in Kayole, one of the groups previously supported by the Foundation. It was inspiring to witness the remarkable progress they have made through their thriving rabbit farming project.

What began as support has grown into a sustainable income-generating venture, providing the group with an additional source of livelihood while strengthening their journey toward economic independence.

Moments like these remind us that investing in young people is investing in stronger, more resilient communities.
