Thank you, Vision Makers, for your time, honesty, and hard work. You inspire us! ❤️

🏀 More than a game. A pathway.

Meet Coach Joseph Akon of Juri Bim Basketball Academy. In this video, he shares how the Humama Basketball Court has transformed lives in the area, especially within his Sudanese community.

For many young people, the court has become a place of belonging, discipline, and hope. Some of Coach Joseph's players have gone on to earn scholarships, opportunities made possible by having a safe, quality space to train and grow.

At the Jonathan Jackson Foundation, we believe in the power of sport to unlock potential. Stories like Coach Joseph's remind us why we invest in communities.

🏀 A basketball court. A business. A brighter future.

Shadrack is a member of SWAM LEGENDS, a youth group we've supported through our Jenga Bizna Mtaani program. He shares how the Humama Basketball Court built under our Bakee Mtaani Program in Kayole — has become more than a place to play.

Every weekend, tournaments at the court bring crowds, and crowds bring customers to Shadrack's business. More customers mean more income, and more income means real change in his life.

This is the ripple effect we work for: infrastructure that builds community, opportunity, and enterprise all at once.

Watch his story below and see how sport and entrepreneurship go hand in hand. 👇
