Sermon On “Will Humanity Be Judged For All Sins Or Just The Un-repented / Repeated Sins?” By Sister Anne on 29th May, 2026 (Part 1)
Main Scripture: Hebrews 8:12
“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
Introduction
Beloved brethren, one question that troubles many hearts is this:
“When humanity stands before God, will we be judged for every sin we have ever committed, OR ONLY FOR THE SINS WE NEVER REPENTED OF?”
Many people carry fear, guilt, and uncertainty.
Some wonder whether God keeps an eternal list of every wrong they ever did, even after repentance.
OTHERS WONDER WHETHER REPEATED SIN MEANS THEIR REPENTANCE WAS NEVER GENUINE.
Today, we seek to understand the heart of God — His justice, His holiness, and His mercy.
The truth is this:
GOD SEES ALL SIN, BUT HE ALSO OFFERS FORGIVENESS THROUGH GENUINE REPENTANCE.
1. God Sees And Knows Every Sin
The Bible teaches that nothing is hidden from God:
“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight.” Hebrews 4:13
EVERY ACTION, EVERY WORD, EVERY SECRET THOUGHT IS VISIBLE BEFORE HIM.
It is true that God is All-Seeing:
Proverbs 15:3 (KJV): "The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good."
Hebrews 4:13 (ESV): "And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account."
Humanity will indeed give account for their lives;
“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” Romans 14:12
GOD IS PERFECTLY JUST.
He does not ignore evil, corruption, hatred, lies, immorality, or wickedness.
THE JUDGE OF ALL THE EARTH SEES EVERYTHING.
BUT THANKS BE TO GOD — THE STORY DOES NOT END WITH JUDGMENT ALONE.
2. Repentance Brings Forgiveness
ONE OF THE GREATEST REVELATIONS IN SCRIPTURE IS THAT GOD FORGIVES THE TRULY REPENTANT SINNER.
Repentance is not merely saying, “I am sorry.”
Repentance means:
acknowledging sin,
grieving over it,
turning away from it and
returning to God sincerely.
When genuine repentance takes place, God removes the guilt of sin;
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9
Notice that Scripture says all unrighteousness.
THIS MEANS THAT SINS WHICH WERE COMMITTED, CONFESSED, FORSAKEN, AND SURRENDERED TO GOD ARE NO LONGER HELD AGAINST THE BELIEVER.
Hallelujah!
God does not delight in condemning His children.
He delights in mercy;
“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” — Psalm 103:12
THEREFORE, MANY SINS THAT WERE ONCE PART OF OUR LIVES BECOME WASHED AWAY BY GRACE THROUGH SINCERE REPENTANCE.
God bless us all.
