There are some days you don’t just attend, you experience them. 🧡

Our day at Bondeni Children’s Home was one of those days. We walked in ready to serve, but somehow, the children reminded us that service is just as much about joy, connection and simply being present. 🥹✨

From preparing and sharing breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea with 62 amazing children, to playing, dancing, laughing and even putting on a little fashion show! The day quickly became so much more than a visit. It became a collection of moments we’ll carry with us. 🫶🏽

And the best part? Seeing Lions and Leos come together, roll up our sleeves and serve side by side. 4 Lions, 13 Leos, 1 guest and 18 volunteers; one team, one beautiful day and countless smiles. 🦁💙

This was Chapter One of the Masaku Pioneer Story, and if these photos could talk, they’d probably tell you just how much fun we had. 😂🧡

Here’s to the meals we shared, the friendships we made, the laughter we created and the little moments that made the day unforgettable.

We came to serve. We left with stories. ✨

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Charles Gitau, Founder & Director of Bondeni children's home, for once again welcoming us so warmly and making us feel at home. 🧡

This time, we had the privilege of spending the day with 62 amazing children at Bondeni Children’s Home. Cooking together, playing, sharing laughs, dancing and simply having fun. 🥹🤍

To Mrs. Gitau, the matron and the entire Bondeni team, thank you for your kindness and for making every visit so special. This wasn’t our first time at Bondeni, but somehow, every visit feels even more meaningful.

We’re grateful for the relationship we’re building and excited for more shared moments, collaborations and greater impact together.

Leadership in Lionism is not just a title — it is a call to serve with heart, lead with integrity, and inspire others to make a difference. As LCMP marks 8 years of service, we celebrate the individuals who have stepped forward to carry our legacy forward.
On July 25, 2026, we proudly install our 2026/27 Club Officers, the team entrusted with guiding our pride into another year of purpose, growth, and community transformation.
