Over 200 learners from across Mombasa county joined Aga Khan School, Mombasa for Career Day, a purposeful gathering centred on ambition, informed pathways and future readiness. 🚀

Panelists representing all three CBC career pathways offered valuable insights into their professional journeys, while tertiary institutions from across the region presented their programmes, equipping learners with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their academic and career trajectories. 🎓💡

Feel good Friday! 🎉

Today at the Support Office, we put down our laptops, stepped out of our meetings paused our schedules and came together for something a little different: a cooking competition and birthday celebrations for our May babies! 🎂🍳

Teams were judged on creativity, presentation, flavour and technique, but honestly? what truly stole the show was the laughter, the teamwork and the pure joy in the room. 💚

It is a beautiful reminder that behind every deadline, every event and every deliverable, we are first and foremost a hashtag – and what a team we are!

To our May birthday celebrants, wishing you all the love and joy this month has to offer. 🎂✨

Today, the Aga Khan Schools signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Murdoch University Dubai. This partnership focuses on expanding higher education pathways, strengthening international collaboration and opening up new opportunities for students across the Aga Khan Schools network.

This collaboration reflects the Aga Khan Schools’ ongoing commitment to connecting students with a variety of academic institutions and diverse learning opportunities. It also builds on existing partnerships with universities and institutions across Canada, India, the UAE and the US, with additional collaborations underway.

We are starting the week on a high note by celebrating a remarkable achievement within our community.

George Peter Oile, a Grade 6 student from the , recently secured the fourth place nationally at the prestigious eMsingi Math Hackathon at Strathmore University. Competing against some of the brightest young minds in the country, George demonstrated incredible analytical skills, precision and a deep-seated passion for mathematics.

This milestone reflects both George's individual brilliance and the dedicated mentorship provided at our schools. The achievement was made possible through the unwavering support of his class teacher, Mr Alphonce Licha, alongside the expert guidance of deputy head teacher Ms Judith Ogolla and his Math teacher Mr Thomas Wabwire.

Successes such as these highlight the culture of excellence and the nurturing environment we strive to provide.
