When her body was found, the family’s agonizing discovery and the post-mortem reports revealed the unimaginable horror she endured: all her ribs were broken, her arms fractured, her intestines ruptured, and her abdomen filled with blood. She suffered severe injuries to her eyes, deep bruising across her face, and her hair had been violently torn out. Reports indicate that after taking her life, her killer dragged her body into a tea plantation, spent the night there, and fled in the morning.

Despite this horrific brutality, no arrest has been made. Community intelligence indicates the killer is still roaming free in the area, yet the family is left weeping for justice while local police do absolutely nothing.

This systemic inaction must end. We demand immediate accountability.

hen you dread opening DMs because there might be a family or friends out with their murdered kin. A reminder you have to read and digest each killing , each femicide and remind yourself that the lives of each of them is gone.

They died in so much pain.
They should be here
But yet
They are NOT. Their lives were stolen.

Where do we take this horror and the pain we feel?
We are their witnesses

We speak about it
We honour them
We ensure that their names are forgotten
Even the unnamed ones
They matter

Ww demand justice on their behalf

🚨 UPDATE: Police Arrest Suspect Over Fatal Stabbing of Ex-Girlfriend in Kilimani

Police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with the fatal stabbing of his 25-year-old ex-girlfriend along Kirichwa Road in Kilimani, Nairobi, on Thursday evening, with investigators linking the attack to what colleagues described as a toxic relationship between the two former partners who both worked for a money lending company located along Ngong Road.

According to police and witness accounts, the woman had reportedly separated from the suspect and moved from his house in Kawangware to stay with her aunt before resuming work on Thursday after being away for several weeks, while detectives say the suspect also reported to work armed with a knife earlier in the day.

Authorities say the woman was walking with colleagues toward the Argwings Kodhek area after work when the suspect allegedly followed and attacked her, stabbing her multiple times before she attempted to run to a nearby clinic for help but collapsed outside the facility and died from her injuries.

Kilimani Sub-County Police Commander Patricia Yegon confirmed that members of the public restrained the suspect before police arrived at the scene, adding that he did not sustain injuries during the incident and that blood stains found on him belonged to the deceased woman.

Police say the suspect was taken to hospital for examination before being returned to custody, as detectives continue investigations ahead of his expected arraignment on a murder charge.
