On 18th February we Commemorate Field Marshal Dedan Kimaathi Wachuri. Executed by the British Colonial State and the Ones who Comprised. Now 68 Years on The State that became Kenya Neo-Colonialism still Evident.
The measures taken by the Regimes in Power to this date has been to suppress the History of Majority of Freedom Fighters.
The Land the likes of Kimaathi is Still In the Hands of the Elites who Comprised and the British. The Kenyan Parliament is still a puppet to Western Imperialism.

Having only one hand is no excuse for Dj Talanta who does everything on his own and hopes nothing but the best for his future.

🌾 A Successful Land and Ecological Justice Forum!

Today, we had transformative conversations on critical topics, including Food Sovereignty vs. Corporate Control and Feminist Perspectives on the Land Question. The forum highlighted the urgent need to address rising inequalities, lack of political will to support youth initiatives, unfulfilled election promises, and the ongoing crisis in Kenya’s healthcare system.

From challenging corporate control over our food systems to reimagining feminist approaches to land ownership, the message was clear ...
🗣️"our struggle for is inseparable from the fight for justice and equity in all areas of life".

Our people remain committed to building people-centered alternatives. There is no true revolution without the liberation of women.

Join Us this Saturday 2pm, for a Critical Ecological Justice Forum! 🌾

We intend to explore the far-reaching impacts of corporate control on Kenya's food systems, biodiversity, and the fight for seed and food sovereignty.

💬 Key Discussions:
🔸 Ecofeminism: Feminist perspective on the land question
🔸 Food sovereignty Vs Corporate control
🔸 Womens resistance against colonial roots of agricultural technology.

📍Host: Njiru Feminists Network
✨ As Thomas Sankara wisely said, “He who feeds you controls you.” Let us reclaim control over our food systems and resist exploitation to ensure a sovereign and sustainable future for all.

🌱 Eco Resource Farm Update 🌱

Today, the Eco Resource Farm got a beautiful facelift! We took a big step forward by the pathways with concrete stones, making the space more accessible and functional for our community and members alike.

This is yet another stride in creating a sustainable and eco-friendly hub for all.

📢 Exciting News for Njiru! 📢

Construction has officially begun on the Njiru Community Library and Information Hub! With bricks in place and a clear vision to bring change, we're one step closer to establishing a space where learning, empowerment, and community engagement can thrive. This library will not only provide valuable resources for study and research but will also serve as an information hub, a training center, and a safe space for civic education.

Together, we are building more than walls – we're building a dream for a brighter, more informed future. With determination and community spirit, we believe in the power of knowledge to change lives and lift our community towards new opportunities.

Stay tuned as we continue to work toward making this vision a reality! Thank you to everyone supporting us on this journey. 📚
