Kicking off this year's food program with a bang! We spent quality time with our mama mboga group which has a total number of over 60 members so far.
We checked out options for pushing their small businesses with mini group loans. Another meeting happening in a month to keep the loans going and review the old ones.
After the debrief, we shared some food stuff which will help feed the families. Hard times financially, school fees stressing them out, so this food's a blessing. Shout out to our UK partners and friends.

The video speaks volumes, the elderly's faces radiate joy. We surprised them during their meeting, and despite the numbers, we were able to bless every household. They were thrilled and grateful, promising to keep all the hands that have given to them, in their prayers. A massive thank you to our incredible UK partners, this wouldn't have been possible without your support!

Distributing food in the slum comes with its challenges, but we try to reach those who need it most. We take it to them, considering many come with babies or are expecting. It's not always easy, and sometimes the crowds get overwhelming, so we give out food randomly. Thankfully, our effort in Gatwekera area went smoothly.
We're grateful to our UK partners for helping us extend a helping hand to those who need it most.

It was father's day a few days ago. Our brothers and friends in the 'jua Kali' industry (welding), didn't even notice it nor did they feel special in any way. We decided to give them a special treat for their families as we also appreciated them for all the effort they put in to ensure their families don't go hungry.
Special thanks goes out to our members, friends and partners in the UK for always having us in your thoughts and prayers and for also going an extra mile to fund such a program for more than five years now. God blessπŸ™

It's always an honor whenever our partners pay us a visit. We shared memorable moments together. We shared lots to do with the feeding program which they've been supporting for years now. Unfortunately we weren't able to carry it out the week they were here because one of our officials had attended a burial in her rural area and she's yet to return.
We are hopeful that the future is bright as we continue serving the community together and create ways of growing the members too.
