Empowering young innovators at St. Mary’s Girls Nyaburu through our STEM Club session.
The learners explored the importance of Arduino and how technology can be used to create simple personal projects that solve real-life problems. From curiosity to creativity, the session showed the true power of practical learning — building confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in young minds.
At Transformers Organisation, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn by creating, experimenting, and innovating.

Something many people don’t know about boys growing up in Mathare…

This weekend during our Boys Najutuma Series at Transformers Mathare, the boys shared something that stayed with me.

One of them spoke about something very simple — undergarments.

For many of these boys, access to basic personal essentials is not guaranteed. Yet these are the things that affect dignity, confidence, and self-esteem every single day.

That is why safe spaces for boys matter.

We were honored to host Hinn Walubengo, who spoke about mindset shift, environmental responsibility, and believing in your potential. His message reminded the boys that their story does not end in Mathare.

From Mathare North to Ivy League schools, the journey is possible when mentorship, education, and opportunity meet determination.

The boys spoke openly about their struggles, their dreams, and why gender inclusion must also include listening to boys.

Moments like these remind us why we do this work.

A big thank you to the friends and supporters who helped us provide milk and lunch for the boys during the session. Your generosity makes these gatherings possible.

The Boys Najutuma Series continues next weekend — and the conversations continue.

Because sometimes, real change begins with simply listening.
