Hailing from the beautiful roots of Baringo, Mercy is a dynamic and multi-talented young woman on the verge of becoming a Kenyatta University alumna, after her 4-year journey in Bachelor of Education (French & Physical Education).She is currently at the Alliance Francaise de Nairobi Multimedia library as an intern.

Mercylyne Namasaka est ingénieure en bâtiment et titulaire d'une licence en construction de bâtiments de Technical University of Kenya. Elle se spécialise actuellement dans la conception architecturale, la conception structurelle, la supervision de chantier et la préparation des devis quantitatifs. Elle possède également le titre d'assistante de langue anglaise, ayant déjà exercé cette fonction en France pendant l'année scolaire 2023/2024, où elle a enseigné l'anglais dans trois écoles. En outre, elle est une rédactrice exceptionnelle qui a été récompensée par le premier accessit du Badili Essay Writing Competition qui s'est tenu au niveau national en 2022 et a également obtenu le premier accessit du Blogger of the Year Award au cours de l'année académique 2022)2023 qui s'est tenue à Technical University of Kenya. Dr Teresa Otieno.

Teresa Otieno est maître de conférences à la Technical University of Kenya, spécialisée en linguistique et en didactique du français langue étrangère. Passionnée par les langues et la diversité culturelle, elle a poursuivi ses études en France, une expérience qui a profondément enrichi son parcours académique et personnel.
Elle enseigne le français sur objectifs spécifiques et accompagne des étudiants kenyans dans des programmes de mobilité internationale, notamment celui des assistants de langue en France. Elle a également encadré des étudiants dans le cadre d’un programme d’échange universitaire entre la TU-K et l’Université de Technologie de Tarbes Occitanie-Pyrénées (UTTOP), où ces derniers ont poursuivi un master en ingénierie, dispensé en langue française.

Son engagement s’inscrit dans la promotion du plurilinguisme, de l’interculturalité et de la francophonie au Kenya. Ses travaux actuels portent sur les utopies linguistiques, les représentations du français en Afrique, en particulier au Kenya, ainsi que sur l’impact de la diversité linguistique dans les sociétés contemporaines. Elle encadre par ailleurs des thèses de master et de doctorat dans le domaine de la linguistique appliquée et en sciences de l’information.
