World Environment Day is more than a date on the calendar it is a global reminder that the future of our planet depends on the actions we take today. Eco Greenlife Global (EGG) and Amref Health Africa, we marked this important day not only through words and discussions but through meaningful action on the ground.
Together with the County Government of Narok, NGAO, Ewangan Primary School, Oloiboti Comprehensive School, DeB School, our partners;AfyaAfrica, ENSDA,KenGen,GDC,The Girl Council l,Newford CBO and Green Earth CBO, and members of the community, we came together to plant trees and contribute to ecosystem restoration efforts. The activity demonstrated the power of collaboration in addressing environmental challenges and building climate resilience.
Every seedling planted represents hope for cleaner air, healthier ecosystems, protected biodiversity, and a more sustainable future for generations to come. It is through such collective efforts that we can restore degraded landscapes, mitigate the effects of climate change, and strengthen environmental stewardship within our communities.
