Mafundi Wa Kenya Association (MWAKA) is a non-profit organisation formed and registered under the Societies Act, Cap 108 of the laws of Kenya in 2007 & sustained by member subscriptions, internal programs, corporate sponsorships & partnerships.

The aim of Mafundi wa Kenya Association (MWAKA) is to unite and empower fundis (skilled workers and artisans) in Kenya’s construction industry.

Organize and represent fundis so they have one strong voice in the industry.

Promote professionalism by encouraging skill development, certification, and adherence to safety standards.

Create opportunities through verified job leads, networking, and partnerships.

Advocate for fair treatment of workers, including better pay, safety, and working conditions.

Build community support by offering insurance, welfare, and solidarity among members.

MWAKA exists to protect, uplift, and grow fundis so that their skills are respected, rewarded, and sustainable.
