At Nawiri Ladies Community Based Organization, we recently conducted a powerful Organisational Development Workshop aimed at strengthening the capacity of our members and equipping them with practical tools for growth and sustainability.

Through this impactful training, our members gained valuable skills in:

Yesterday marked a powerful beginning to our County FKF League journey ⚽
As champions of Sports for Peace and Cohesion, we went beyond the match to engage players and fans in an SRHR/SGBV awareness session, fostering education, respect, and unity in our community.

On Saturday, we proudly took part in a tree planting exercise at Embakasi Girls Secondary School under our Climate Change Mitigation thematic area. The activity went beyond planting trees, as it was presided over with impactful SRHR sessions, drawing critical links between climate change, health, and the rights of girls and young women.
This meaningful initiative was made possible through collaboration with other Community Based Organizations, the County Environment Office, the Area Chief, and other key stakeholders. Together, we are nurturing a greener environment while advancing informed, resilient, and empowered communities.

Today we rose higher! empowering our community with one conversation at a time! Our SRHR session today was a powerful step toward dignity, knowledge and agency. With members receiving menstrual cups and reusable sanitary towels which are sustainable tools for healthier futures.
We were also honored to host Her Excellency, the Executive Director of African Gender and Media Initiative Trust Gladys Kiio together with the Programme Officer Hellena. Not forgetting our usual trainer Ragnhild Hovland Evang . Your presence and insights truly uplifted the day.
