Its Mission is to respond to the education of children located in Kenya. Many children are from the impoverished areas of metropolitan Nairobi, which is the capital of Kenya. Children in Kenya can only attend school if they wear the required school uniform; therefore, those who cannot afford to buy the uniform and shoes, are not allowed into school. It is Grace’s vision to clothe every child in Ke
nya so all children can have a great education—not just children from homes where the uniforms are easily afforded! Grace Wangari, and her four unpaid volunteers, work tirelessly doing all they can to fundraise for their Ministry. Every penny the Ministry earns goes to uniforms and shoes for these children in need. To date, they have clothed a total of 21 children. In July 2022, through much prayer and the Grace of GOD, Grace had the opportunity to begin renting a schoolroom, so that not only could she clothe children whose families couldn’t afford school uniforms, she could now educate children whose families couldn’t afford to send them to school at all! The school opened on August 8, 2022, with students ranging in ages between 3 and 7 years old. She is hoping to educate 20 students in this classroom. On opening day, she was blessed by Pastor Basilio and Lucy Njeri, with furniture for this classroom, though as more students apply for her school, she will need more. It is her vision that no child goes uneducated in Kenya, and she’s depending on donations to keep the school running. People may be skeptical about donating money to overseas causes, but we beg you to pray to God and allow Him to touch you if you so decide to contribute. These children don’t deserve to have their education withheld from them because they cannot afford to buy the school’s uniform. That is tragic. We ask you to pray and give your best gift to this ministry—a gift that can be given monthly, quarterly, or annually. Scripture says, “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Matthew 25:40
