I used to think being affordable was a competitive advantage.

It isn't. It's a trap.

When you compete on price, you attract clients who chose you for the price. And those clients will leave you the moment someone cheaper shows up. You will spend your entire career running from that person.

Here's what I've seen at the Summit and in years of consulting:

Businesses that charge premium prices don't just make more money — they work with better clients, deliver better work, and build stronger reputations. Because when a client pays properly, they show up prepared. They implement. They see results. And they refer you.

The market doesn't reward the cheapest. It rewards the most trusted.

Trust is built through confidence, consistency, clear results — and yes, through your price. Your price is a signal. A low price tells the market: even I don't fully believe in what I offer.

You don't have to be the most expensive. But you have to charge what the work is worth — and then deliver on it completely.
