Theme: End Child Marriage and Invest in Girls’ Rights.
Yesterday, the world celebrated the girl child. Today, and every day, our responsibility to protect her rights, nurture her dreams and create opportunities for her future remains.
At Women Empowered Under Social Integration (W.E.U.S.I.), we believe every girl deserves the freedom to learn, grow, dream and become whoever she aspires to be. No girl should have her childhood cut short by child marriage, gender-based violence, teenage pregnancy, discrimination or harmful social norms.
Investing in girls means:
