Women in Water and Sanitation Association (WIWAS), in partnership with Nairobi Water Company and Nairobi Water Women’s Welfare, marked Menstrual Hygiene Day at Ngunyumu Primary School in Korogocho through mentorship sessions and donation of sanitary pads to learners.

The event highlighted the importance of menstrual health awareness, dignity, and keeping girls in school by ensuring they have the support they need to thrive confidently.

The occasion was graced by Nairobi Water Director HR & Administration Monica Tuli, Patron of Nairobi Water Women’s Welfare, and WIWAS Chairperson and Kisumu Water and Sanitation Company Limited Head of Commercial Services Eldah Odongo, whose leadership continues to inspire meaningful community impact.

Together, we remain committed to empowering girls and supporting healthier communities.
