On behalf of the Nailepu Foundation family, we are proud to celebrate an incredible milestone and an extraordinary leader.
Diana’s journey of service began during her freshman year at Wesleyan University, where she founded the Nailepu Foundation with a vision of expanding educational opportunities and empowering underserved communities across the Maasai community. Since then, she has dedicated herself to creating meaningful change through education, mentorship, health advocacy, and community development.

Diana graduated from Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and African Studies and received numerous honors and awards, including the prestigious Samuel P. Huntington Public Service Award and the Davis Projects for Peace Award, recognizing her commitment to public service, peacebuilding, and community impact.
During her Samuel Huntington Fellowship year, Diana led transformative projects focused on reproductive health and menstrual hygiene across Maasai communities. She trained community women to sew reusable sanitary pads, provided mental health education to youth, supported local schools with learning materials, and expanded opportunities for women and girls through education and skills development.

At the same time, Diana pursued a Master’s degree in Education Policy at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, balancing online and in-person coursework while continuing her service commitments. This May, she successfully graduated with her master’s degree while completing a highly impactful Samuel Huntington Fellowship year.

Through her leadership, countless students, women, and families across Maasai communities have gained access to educational resources, mentorship, health education, and opportunities that continue to transform lives.

We have witnessed firsthand the passion, resilience, and dedication Diana brings to every initiative. Her journey reminds us that one person’s vision can create lasting change for entire communities.

Please join us in congratulating Diana on these remarkable achievements and wishing her success as she begins the next chapter of her journey.
Congratulations Diana! Blessings❤️👏🏾

Ending FGM requires education, open conversations, and strong communities that protect and empower girls. When we speak up, support survivors, and advocate for change, we help build a future where every child can thrive with dignity.

Let’s stand together to end FGM. Protect girls. Protect futures.
