Today we had a very exciting moment at Destiny Education Centre in Mathare slums in Nairobi. We trained 100 school girls on Menstrual Hygiene education. We also distributed 100 washable sanitary kits to them. The girls were very happy to learn and they were quite interactive.

The girls now have more days of dignity as they go through their education journey.

Today 100 boys from Korogocho schools combined together for the purpose of a training on Men Who Know program. They were also accompanied by 3 male and 4 female teachers. The boys were very happy and excited to learn more about their bodies and their responsibilities as young people in the community. They also promised to take care of girls during their challenging moments especially with their periods instead of mocking them. Each boy received 2 pairs of boxers and they were very happy and feel encouraged.They said a big thank you to days for girls for supporting them.

Today we had an opportunity to visit Maranatha school in Korogocho slums in Nairobi Kenya and we trained school girls on Menstrual Hygiene and we also distributed 100 washable sanitary pads to them. The girls were very happy to receive the menstrual management kits.
