Migori County Governor Ochilo Ayacko, together with Dr. Joyce Duchess DI of Journey By Grace Mission of Compassion, laid the foundation for a first-of-its-kind specialist hospital at Igena Center, Kehancha Town in Kuria West Sub-County. The foundation for the specialist hospital was laid after a two-day free medical camp in Migori where over 800 patients benefited.

My brothers and sisters on the eastern and southern stretch of Lilongwe, I was deeply humbled yesterday by the warmth and energy you showed me across Chiwamba, Lilongwe East, Matapila, Nkhoma, Chigodi, and Kamphata.

Your support and commitment inspire me every day.

I shared our bold plans to build clean water systems, extend National Economic Empowerment Fund loans, implement 1 million kwacha for 1 million Malawians each, launch the 10:10 Challenge, expand Mtukula Pakhomo, improve road infrastructure, implement irrigation farming, empower young ones through the Tsogolo Account, and deliver lasting infrastructure. Every initiative is aimed at strengthening foundations, creating opportunities, and ensuring that progress reaches both urban and rural areas.

JUKWAA LA USALAMA, MURANG'A COUNTY CHAPTER

Our 30th Jukwaa la Usalama town hall meeting is underway at the County Commissioner's residence grounds.

The open-forum engagement has brought together community representatives, Assistant Chiefs, Chiefs, law enforcement officers and leaders to deliberate on the prevailing security and service delivery challenges in the county and discuss strategies to resolve them.

Earlier, I paid a courtesy call on Murang'a Governor Dr. Irungu Kang'ata.

Some of the dignitaries who have joined us include MPs Peter Kihungi (Kangema) and Veronica Maina (Nominated Senator), Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja, Deputy Inspector General (APS) Gilbert Masengeli, Commissioner General of Prisons Patrick Aranduh, Secretary for Internal Security Thomas Saka, Secretary of National Administration, Moses Lilan, Secretary National Registration Bureau Dr. Christopher Wanjau, Secretary Civil Registration Services Paul Mwangemi and NACADA CEO Dr. Anthony Omerikwa.

Others are Central Kenya Regional Commissioner Joshua Nkanatha, Regional Police Commander Samuel Ndanyi, Regional AP Commander Somane Farah, Regional Traffic Enforcement Officer Elizabeth Vivi, Acting County Commissioner Charles Murithi and County Assembly Speaker Johnson Mukuha
