Keeping Teens Engaged During the Holidays Matters
Did you know School holidays can either expose young people to risk or open doors for growth and expecialy in the underserved communities . By engaging teens in positive activities such as cultural dance and traditional songs, we create safe spaces where they can learn, express themselves, and build confidence.
Through visits to different community social spaces across Nairobi, we used cultural practice as a tool to spark conversations on health, hygiene, and personal responsibility. Music and dance create a powerful platform where important messages are shared in a way that young people can understand and embrace.
When culture meets mentorship, we do more than preserve tradition through the cultural exchanege program from Boehringer Ingelheim Manuela Pastore M.A. inspired our viosion to empowers the next generation to make healthier choices and become stronger community leaders.
