Every minute, 24 people around the world are forced to flee their homes. That’s, 34,000 people a day who leave everything behind in the hope of finding the safety and a better tomorrow. There are 70.8 million forcibly displaced persons in the world today and over 9.6 million in Africa, largely due to a high level of human rights violations in the world.
We believe that everyone around the world should have equal rights, and no one should be judged according to their personal attributes, color, nationality, or status.
GHRC works to improve the lives of refugees and help them to overcome the challenges they face in refugee camps around the world.
