DAY OF PURPOSE, ENERGY AND HOPE AT MWANJILA VTC
Today, KijanaWetu Initiative had the opportunity to spend time with the young people at Mwanjila Vocational Training Centre for an engaging session on self-awareness and youth advocacy.
The room was full of energy, honest conversations and excitement. We challenged one another to look within, understand our potential, recognize the issues affecting young people, and most importantly, understand that our voices matter in shaping the communities we want to live in.
The session was led by two of our dedicated KijanaWetu members, Miss Joy Mwakale and Mr. Shake Kiprono, who brought the conversations to life through interaction, sharing and meaningful engagement with the youths.
We were also honoured to be joined by Mr. Daniel Karinda, Chairman of Okoa Boy Child Initiative, whose presence added an important perspective to the conversation around empowering and supporting the boy child.
For us, today was not simply another youth meeting. It was a reminder that when young people are given a platform to learn, speak and connect, powerful possibilities emerge. Mwanjila VTC is officially part of our journey, and we are grateful to every young person who participated.
The conversation has started. The energy is there. And the journey continues.
