Did you participate in our Mchanga fundraiser that happened between
September to December 2024? If yes, it is you we are sincerely appreciating.

In 2022, MTAA Men and Traditions Against Aids got an opportunity to undergo a training on Local resource mobilization courtesy of Change the Game Academy through Kenya Community Development Foundation

This training awakened us to the reality of the shrinking donor space and the need to have a sustainable source of income as an organization, so that our doors remain open despite the adversities that may come our way.

As part of the Training, we needed to come up with a project that would see us raise resources for our operations locally. We would then fundraise for this project locally and see it grow. Thanks to our couch Sarah Martha for holding our hands through the journey.

Through your kindly donation, we managed to acquire an extra piece of land and have set up our dream vegetables' project which will change the game in our resource mobilization activities.

Today Men and Traditions Against Aids led by the Director Gertrude Lwanga once again joined other partners in sensitizing 240 youth from Mumias East, Matungu, Shinyalu and Ikolomani Sib-Counties on the Triple Threat.

Today Men and Traditions Against Aids in collaboration with the Ministry of Health Mumias East Sub-County and the Ministry of Interior and National coordination led by the DCC Mumias East Sub-County joined the World in marking the end of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence in a colourful procession from the DCC's office through Shianda market.
Key messages about the Triple Threat were passed by the MOH team.
