YOUTH BARAZA BRINGS UNITY AND A NEW DIRECTION FOR THE YOUTH OF CHEWANI WARD
A Youth Baraza was held in Kumbi Village, Chewani Ward, bringing together young people from different parts of the ward to discuss issues affecting them, exchange ideas, and explore practical solutions to the challenges they face.
The forum was organized under the leadership of JVP in collaboration with Youth Ambassador Salim Kalime, bringing together youth leaders, development stakeholders, and community leaders. Among the leaders who addressed the gathering were Hon. Rehema Hassan and Advocate Hajila, who emphasized the importance of unity, good leadership, education, peace, and active youth participation in community development.
During the discussions, participants openly shared the challenges facing young people, including unemployment, limited economic opportunities, access to education, and their involvement in decision-making processes. The speakers encouraged the youth to embrace their talents, pursue self-employment opportunities, and work together to drive sustainable development within Chewani Ward.
The forum also reaffirmed that young people are a vital force for development and that through unity, hard work, and strong values, they can create meaningful and lasting change in their communities.
Participants left the forum committed to strengthening their collaboration, promoting unity, and putting the knowledge gained into action to build a brighter future for the youth of Chewani Ward.
