Yesterday, the Mombasa Youth Council , in partnership with the Mombasa Youth Association Forum, Brain Youth Organisation, and the Junda Community, successfully carried out a marine conservation and mangrove planting exercise at Junda Mission.

This impactful initiative underscores our collective commitment to environmental stewardship, coastal ecosystem restoration, and sustainable development. Mangrove forests are invaluable natural assets that help mitigate climate change, protect shorelines from erosion, enhance marine biodiversity, and support the livelihoods of coastal communities.

We sincerely appreciate all partners, volunteers, stakeholders, and community members whose dedication and active participation contributed to the success of this exercise. Through collaboration and action, we continue to advance a greener, cleaner, and more resilient Mombasa.
