Applications are now open for organizations and businesses interested in hosting a YES Alumni Intern in Summer 2026!

We’re inviting U.S. and U.S.-affiliated organizations worldwide to host highly motivated young professionals who are alumni of the Kennedy‑Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program — a cultural exchange program through which participants spend an academic year in the U.S. living with a host family, attending high school, and volunteering in their host community. These interns bring cross‑cultural communication skills, technical proficiency, strong leadership, and innovative problem‑solving to support meaningful projects within your team.

AFS Kenya Scholarships – Study Abroad in the USA (2026–27)

AFS Kenya is offering 2 partial scholarships for AFS Study Abroad Program in the USA. Students can choose either a Semester or Year-long program for the academic year 2026–27.

📅 Program start: August 2026

✅ Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a Kenyan citizen
• Currently enrolled as a high school student, preferably in Grade 9, 10, 11 ( Form 3 of 8-4-4 might be suitable for Semester program only)
• Age range: Between 15 years and 17years 3months at the time of departure

💡 Program Costs (exclusive of flight & visa fees):

• Semester Program: USD 1,600
• Year-long Program: USD 3,200

📅 Deadline to submit Pre application form: 31st December 2025
