Commemoration of World malaria day in Kilifi County a collaborative initiative between Kilifi County Government and diverse stakeholders was undertaken under the global theme End Malaria: Now we can. Now we must.

The event integrated comprehensive public health services, including malaria testing, HIV testing, cervical and breast cancer screening, as well as disability assessment and registration.

Tuwajali Deaf Community facilitated inclusivity by providing sign language interpretation across all service booths, dismantling communication barriers and reinforcing equitable access to healthcare.

This multi-sectoral engagement underscores the imperative that health is a fundamental human right, while effective communication remains a cornerstone of inclusive service delivery.

We went home tired but Satisfied.

Too many Deaf children grow up in silence—not because they lack stories, but because no one around them speaks their language. Some parents send their Deaf kids to boarding schools, hoping they'll thrive. But when those children come home, they’re quiet. Reserved. Not because they’re shy—but because no one can sit with them, ask about their day, or laugh over school stories in a language they understand.

The problem isn’t their Deafness. It’s our silence.

The solution? Learn Sign Language.
Not someday. Not “when I have time.” Start now. Learn a few signs. Practice. Ask questions. Make space.

When families, friends, and communities speak Sign Language, Deaf children grow up feeling seen, heard, and loved. That’s how we build a world where no one is left out of the conversation.

Weekends are for Partnership and Collaboration. ❤️

We visited a place that went straight to my heart.

A place where Children find a new home. Where they can eat, sleep and learn. And where their hearts start beating again through dance.

We had the joy of meeting wonderful children today with bright eyes and open hearts. Children who have found stability in life again through dancing, hope, joy confidence.

This project isn’t a big organization or some administrative machine. It’s direct help, real tangible and life changing. Every single cent goes exactly where it’s needed.

We got to know Sharini Arts and Cultural Center through Justin Mbaru foundation dedicated to empower the community through Partnerships, collaboration and friendship. Cheers to many more.

LOVE isn’t just a word—it’s a lifeline. This October, we sign it loud in KSL to honor every soul navigating mental health battles in silence. You are seen. You are worthy. You belong.
