UKUWA To promote healthy youth development in the US and social economic empowerment to children around the world.

UKUWA, an organization based out of Flick Artist, is run by youth for youth. A management group consisting of teenagers meets every week to assemble ideas and put together events to promote community development and empower the residents of Hilliard. The money raised from these events is sent to impoverished areas of Kenya. UKUWA seeks to break barriers, on local and global levels. Locally, we wan

t to provide ways for people to connect with each other, disregarding stereotypes and prejudices, thereby creating a stronger society and foundation for our personal development as individuals. Globally, we want to enable those in need to have the materials necessary to make the same connections. In UKUWA, we believe improvement must occur internally before we can spread our influence. We aspire to help ourselves, to help others, and to work for the good of all.
