Kadzandani Creative is a youth led organization which has been working with the community in efforts to empower youth
with information on health, environment, talent, peace/security and governance/leadership. The organisation has also, continuously, sought to instil positive values and practice among
youths and ensure sense of responsibilities through various activities such as youth forums,


school outreaches, clean up activities, talent search, civic education , focus group discussion, online campaigns and ultimately two youth retreats. With vast experience of more than 8 years gained and support from the community,
Kadzandani Creative has technical expertise on issues related to young people and through
meaningful youth involvement . Kadzandani Creative works under three thematic are that is , Governance, Health, Peace & Security.

Today, Kadzandani Creative Youth Organization was hosted by Pwani FM to discuss critical issues affecting our communities drug and substance abuse, peace, and security.
We shared real community case studies highlighting both the challenges young people are facing and the role some youth play in creating these challenges.
One thing was clear: despite 10–20 years of efforts, there is still a lot of work to be done.
The journey continues stronger partnerships, honest conversations, and bold action are needed now more than ever.

Today, Kadzandani Creative Youth Organization successfully hosted the Youth & Women in Governance Forum at End Time Church.
Powerful conversations emerged. Community members expressed concerns about the declining trust in women political leaders, largely due to past experiences with ineffective leadership. At the same time, youth and women continue to face major barriers in politics, especially the lack of resources and financial support needed to compete in the political space.
The message was clear:
We must build capable leaders, strengthen accountability, and create fair opportunities for youth and women to lead.

Engaging youth in conversations on Drugs & Substance Abuse, Peace and Security is how we build stronger, safer communities.
When young people are empowered with knowledge, they make sober decisions.
When they practice self-realisation and self-acceptance, they resist negative influence.
When they sit at decision-making tables, they shape policies that affect their future.
A community that listens to its youth invests in:

KADZANDANI CREATIVE YOUTH ORGANIZATION – DRUGS, PEACE & SECURITY FORUM
Yesterday, Kadzandani Creative Youth Organization successfully conducted a Drugs and Substance Abuse, Peace and Security Forum at End Time Church.
The forum was honored by the presence of the Director of National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) – Mombasa, the Area Ward Administrator, Public Health Officers, and members of the Local Administration, whose participation strengthened the dialogue and commitment towards a safer community.
The session on Drugs and Substance Abuse was powerfully facilitated by Madam Benazir Nero, who sensitized participants on the dangers of drug use, prevention strategies, and the importance of making responsible life choices.
On matters of Peace and Security, the OC Crime educated the community on the roles and responsibilities of the police in maintaining law and order, promoting safety, and working closely with citizens to build a peaceful society.
The forum created an important platform for awareness, collaboration, and collective responsibility in addressing drug abuse and enhancing community security.
Together, we build a drug-free, peaceful, and empowered community.
