A striking view of Nairobi’s city centre showcases the iconic Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), one of Kenya’s most recognisable landmarks.

The KICC was officially opened on 11 September 1973 by Kenya’s founding President, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, and has since played an important role in hosting major national and international conferences.

The image also captures Nairobi’s streets, greenery, Kenyan flag and older-style vehicles, giving it a strong nostalgic feel of Nairobi’s earlier years.
