🍎✨ Happy Teachers’ Day! ✨🍎

This Teachers’ Day, we celebrate the incredible people who turn classrooms into places of discovery, growth and possibility.

The theme, “Teachers Create Magic,” reminds us that teaching is about so much more than lessons and books. It’s about inspiring confidence, encouraging dreams, offering guidance, and helping young people believe in what they can become.

To every teacher who patiently explains, encourages, listens, challenges and never gives up, thank you for creating magic every day. 💛

A special appreciation goes to our alumni who are now teachers and to our beneficiaries who are pursuing teaching as a career. We are proud to see you carrying the same spirit of inspiration and service forward. 🌟

Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom and stays with us for a lifetime.

Happy Teachers’ Day to all the amazing teachers! 🍎💛

💛 Thank You! 💛

This Customer Service Week, we’re celebrating the official 2026 theme: “The Extra Mile.”

It’s a reminder that sometimes, it’s the little extra effort, the warm welcome, the listening ear, or simply going a little further that makes all the difference.

We’re taking a moment to appreciate everyone who walks through our doors, supports our shop, donates items, consigns with us, and continues to believe in what we do.

Every visit, every purchase, every donation, and every kind word helps us go the extra mile and makes a difference.

To our amazing customers and supporters, thank you for being part of the 2nd ACT family.

Here’s to serving you with a smile, listening to you, and making every visit a little better. 💛

A Helping Hand as They Begin University 💙

Earlier this September, Jeniffer received a shopping voucher to help her prepare for her transition to university. Like many of the students we supported this year, the voucher was made possible through the generosity of our sponsors.

We sincerely thank our sponsors for standing with our students as they begin this exciting new chapter. These vouchers help ease some of the costs of preparing for university and allow the students to focus on settling into their new environment and pursuing their dreams. 🙏🏽

Jeniffer joined Kenyatta University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Programming. We are proud of her achievement and wish her every success as she begins her university journey! 🌟

You can also make a difference.
You can support a young person entering university through tuition fees or provide an allowance to help with essentials such as rent and food.

Then & Now 💙🎓

From joining secondary school to taking the next big step towards her dream career, what a journey!

Cynthia completed her four years of secondary school and sat for her KCSE in 2025. She performed well and has now joined Pwani University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Arts), specialising in Computer.

It is lovely to see how much has changed since Cynthia first joined secondary school. She has since begun her university journey and is working towards her dream of becoming a teacher. We are proud of her determination and the effort she has put into reaching this point. 💙

Well done, Cynthia! We are excited to see where this next chapter takes you. Wishing you all the best at Pwani University as you continue working towards your dream of becoming a teacher. 🎓💙

A Special Visit to Shimo La Tewa Secondary School 💙

Our Administrator, Julie, recently visited Shimo La Tewa Secondary School together with some of our sponsors to check in on the progress of our students.

It was a wonderful opportunity to spend time with the students, hear how they are doing, and encourage them in their studies. The sponsors also took time to speak with the students alongside their class teachers, sharing advice, encouragement and a listening ear.

We are grateful to our sponsors for taking the time to connect with the students and for continuing to walk with them on their journey.

From KLK Beneficiary to Beginning His Career!

We are delighted to share that Victor officially started his internship with Bridge International, courtesy of Our Community Foundation by Unity Homes. 👏🏽

Victor’s journey with Kids League Kenya began when he joined Shimo La Tewa Secondary School. Through hard work, he performed well and went on to Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, where he pursued a Bachelor of Education (Arts) in English and Literature.

Today, we are proud to see Victor take this important step from education into the professional world. His journey is a wonderful reminder of what can be achieved when young people are given the opportunity, support, and encouragement to pursue their dreams.

We are incredibly proud of how far Victor has come and wish him every success as he begins this exciting new chapter of his career! 💙

Keep going, Victor; your journey is just beginning! 🌟

Happy International Literacy Day 2026!

Today, we celebrate the power of literacy and the opportunities it creates for individuals, communities, and future generations.

The theme for this year, “Literacy for people, the planet and prosperity,” reminds us that literacy is about more than simply being able to read and write. It gives people the confidence to learn, make informed decisions, pursue opportunities, and participate meaningfully in society.

For children, literacy opens the door to a world of knowledge and possibilities. A child who learns to read is not only gaining a skill but they are also gaining a tool to dream, to explore, and to shape their future.

At Kids League Kenya, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to develop their potential through education. By supporting children in their educational journey, we are investing not only in their future but also in stronger families, communities, and a better world.

On this International Literacy Day, let us continue to encourage children to read, learn, ask questions, and dream big. Together, we can create a future where literacy empowers people, protects our planet, and contributes to lasting prosperity.

From KLK Beneficiary to Doctor! 🩺

Dr. Kevin is one of our proud alumni and a former KLK beneficiary. Kids League Kenya supported him throughout his education, and through hard work, determination, and a passion for medicine, he went on to pursue a career in the medical field.

Today, Dr. Kevin is a qualified doctor serving in Kilifi County. 👏🏽

His presence at KLK Day was truly special and a great encouragement to the students we currently support. His journey is a powerful reminder that with the right support, determination, and commitment to education, young people can achieve their dreams.

We are incredibly proud of how far he has come and grateful that he continues to inspire others through his story. 💙
