Help 400 Vulnerable Girls Return to School in Mombasa

Many bright girls in our community are held back — not by ability, but by poverty, school fees, lack of supplies and menstrual health challenges. Every girl deserves the chance to learn, thrive and reach her full potential.

Your support helps cover school fees, uniforms and learning materials, and menstrual hygiene supplies, while also providing mentorship and life skills to help these girls grow into confident, empowered young women.

Help 400 Vulnerable Girls Return to School
We are proud to announce that Kenya SRH Care Organization (KESCO) has officially launched our "Help 400 Vulnerable Girls Return to School" project on GlobalGiving—a trusted global platform connecting community-based organizations with philanthropists, foundations, corporations and development partners committed to creating lasting social impact.
Every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, thrive and achieve her full potential. Yet many vulnerable girls remain out of school due to poverty, limited access to educational resources, menstrual health challenges, gender-based violence and other preventable barriers.
Through this initiative, KESCO will support 400 vulnerable girls by providing:
📚 Educational support
🎒 School supplies and dignity kits
🤝 Mentorship and psychosocial support
🛡️ Child protection and referral services
We invite philanthropic foundations, corporate partners, development agencies, CSR programmes, community organizations and individuals who share our commitment to advancing girls' education to partner with us in expanding opportunities for vulnerable girls to learn, succeed and thrive.
Together, we can remove barriers to education, restore dignity and empower the next generation of young women to become confident learners, leaders and changemakers in their communities.

Learning continues, and so does our commitment to inclusion.

Today's Kenya Sign Language training session brought us one step closer to breaking communication barriers and creating a community where everyone feels seen, heard and valued. Every new sign we learn strengthens our ability to serve the Deaf community and people who are hard of hearing with dignity and respect.

Thank you to Royal Sign Language Training College for guiding us on this journey.

At KESCO, we believe that inclusive communities begin with inclusive communication.

We are excited to have started our Kenya Sign Language (KSL) Training, supported by Royal Sign Language Training College. This training is equipping our team with the skills to communicate effectively with Deaf and hard-of-hearing community members, ensuring that no one is left behind in accessing health information, education, advocacy and community services.

By learning Kenya Sign Language, we are strengthening our commitment to inclusion, equity and meaningful community engagement. Together, we are building a society where everyone can participate, be heard and thrive.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Royal Sign Language Training College for partnering with us on this important journey.

Today, in partnership with Junda Dispensary, we conducted a community dialogue at Kilalapwa aimed at creating awareness on the importance of contraceptive use and family planning. Participants engaged in discussions on making informed reproductive health choices, the benefits of family planning and available contraceptive options.

We also highlighted the importance of immunization from birth, emphasizing how vaccines protect children from preventable diseases and the risks associated with defaulting on immunization schedules.

To enhance access to essential health services, contraceptive services were provided during the session. Together, we continue promoting healthier families and stronger communities through health education and service
