Empowering Healthcare Workers in Kenya: Introducing HimaRika!
LVCT Health is thrilled to announce our ownership of the Boost Digital Job Aide from Avert, now rebranded as HimaRika!
With this tool, now available in Swahili, we are expanding support for Kenya's community healthcare workers (CHWs) by giving them real-time access to essential health information, resources, and protocols directly in their language. This initiative strengthens CHWs’ capacity to deliver quality care where it’s needed most.
The transition to HimaRika represents our commitment to supporting CHWs across Kenya, equipping them with critical resources to improve health outcomes in every community. Our future plans include rolling out HimaRika across all projects and partnering with NGOs to ensure nationwide access.
Together, let’s continue building resilient healthcare systems that empower frontline workers!

Cervical cancer is a type of cancer that occurs in the cells of the cervix—the lower part of the uterus that connects to the va**na. It is most commonly caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), a sexually transmitted infection.

Cervical cancer usually develops gradually, starting with precancerous changes in the cervical cells that can progress to cancer if not detected and treated early.

These are some of the critical matters that one of our own Rose Onsomu discussed during her morning interview at Sauti Ya Pwani FM.

USAID Stawisha Pwani project works with and through the County
Health Management Teams to support quality services at the health facility and community level.
The project is funded by the American people through The U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and USAID Kenya.
