Today in Kwale, male security and justice actors took part in a Gender Sensitivity Training focused on strengthening human rights principles and deepening understanding of GBV. Key lessons highlighted the need to address not just physical violence, but also emotional and economic forms that often go unseen.
The session emphasized the critical role men play in advancing gender equality, as protectors, allies, and change agents. Through honest dialogue and gender activism, participants reflected on their responsibility in preventing GBV and promoting justice that is fair, responsive, and human rights–centered.

– Mohammed
