Additionally, Glady Mnjama, the Director of Partnerships and Investments for JKP, outlined the overarching goals of the partnership and discussed future plans for collaboration. The Shenandoah University team also contributed their thoughts and reflections on the event, while representatives from Taita Taveta University, including Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Prof. Christine Anyango and Dr. Mwakio Mwagandi, the ULA Patron, shared insights into their own activities and aspirations.
The day was filled with a variety of engaging activities designed to promote interaction and foster camaraderie among participants. Among these activities were a lively game of human bingo and a creative threads game, both of which encouraged teamwork and communication. These interactive sessions not only provided entertainment but also served as a platform for participants to connect on a personal level, enhancing the overall experience of the visit. As the day unfolded, the group embarked on an exhilarating safari at Tsavo East, where they were treated to breathtaking views of the region's diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. This excursion offered a unique opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of Kenya, further enriching the cultural exchange between the two universities.
