Just like religion and faith being powerful influencers for change; whether positive or negative, young religious women can be that power to strengthen social cohesion and build resilient, self-sustaining communities. With this fostering equitable societies, faster economic growth, and promoting sustainable, peaceful communities. It is time faith communities gather their effort to empower young women within the community and help shift the traditional patriarchal norms towards more inclusive interpretation of faith which is important for the holistic flourishing of our communities. The voice of young religious women matters. Faith spaces need to create this space and allow young ladies within them speak, contribute and participate in various agendas. This is because they are not merely the future, but the present of faith communities, bringing essential perspectives, energy, and leadership to both religious and societal spheres. Their participation is crucial for challenging restrictive patriarchal structures, ensuring diverse representation, and advocating for a more equitable and gender sensitive faith spaces. The month of April we dedicate it to the young women with faith communities. Please support us financially to enable us plan this initiatives in Kwale, Mombasa and Kilifi County. Kipini Tana River Women Religious Voices. A forum that brought together women religious leaders, community leaders, government administartion officers and other stakeholders bringing out the need for deliberate capacity building for women. Communities have very high expectationsand demand for the women but limited capacity has caused poor delivery from the women. Lack of training and exposure limits the women knowledge, understanding and skills for community facilitation and empowerment. Women Religious leaders who have better opportunities to influence women and empower them to deliver this community expectation also need training and capacity building. As much as good capacity building for women religious leaders is seen at higher levels of the community, the grassroots have been left out yet this is where sustained change begins. This 8th March, the world celebrate the International Women’s Day This is a moment to honour women’s contributions and pledge support in promoting and building gender equity in the world. This year’s theme 'Give to Gain' reminds us that generosity, solidarity and shared action create lasting change. Much effort has been put to ensure inclusivity and participation of women and girls in all community agendas. Policies and laws have been enacted, establishment and reformation of institutions and affirmative actions all in the effort to see women and girls included and participating. However, the gaps and challenges remain in the actual implementation of the above. As we commemorate this day this year lets show willingness and commitment to the implementation of these efforts so that this dream comes to reality. Lets give to support women actions and participation starting from the family and the grassroots communities to the higher levels. Lets promote it in our various spaces including the faith and religious spaces. When we give, women gain dignity, opportunity and a stronger future for their families.As we mark , let’s recommit to building a more just and compassionate world together -

To All women as we approach Womens day this Sunday the 8th of March, please note God’s purpose for women is centered on being a life-giver, nurturer, and "ezer-helper"—a strong, supportive partner who reflects God's character through love, grace, and stewarding life, whether through motherhood, mentoring, or fostering community. They are designed to bring nurturing, wisdom, and strength to their homes, churches, and society, acting as vital, capable partners in fulfilling God's mission on earth.
The theme this year is 'Giving is Gaining' a true Biblical Principle. Please share something with someone this season. Show support to our young girls and ladies, share learning experience with young mothers, build up our young boys and sons with motherly wisdom and instructions and strive to excel in all God has called you to do as a woman. Let the world know we are here to add value and make great positive life changes for the good of all living.
