By 2050, 1 in 4 people in the world will be African. That means the children sitting in classrooms today will be at the heart of Africa’s- and the world’s-future. School feeding is an investment in that future. Every nutritious meal helps give young people the foundation to learn, grow and reach their potential.

This International Youth Day, we’re celebrating the energy, ideas and ambition of the young people who make our work possible, from the students we serve to the 5000+ young people at F4E who work every day to feed our future.

Good food, good mood!

There’s something special about seeing students enjoying a meal they know and love. Our school meals are rooted in local tastes and everyday Kenyan food, because what we serve matters just as much as how many meals we serve.

And judging by these smiles, lunch understood the assignment. 😌🍚🫘

As we learn what it takes to deliver nutritious, affordable meals at scale here at home, we’re building knowledge and systems that can help strengthen school feeding far beyond our borders.
