Grace’s election marks a significant milestone for African leadership within the international human rights landscape. Her commitment to dignity, health, and justice for s*x workers has been instrumental in strengthening our regional networks, and we look forward to the transformative progress her global presidency will bring.

The introduction of Lenacapavir marks a powerful milestone in the fight against HIV.
This long-acting injection , given once every six months , offers strong protection against HIV, especially for those who struggle with daily pills. It is a game changer for women and young people who need discreet, reliable prevention options.
But here is the truth 👇🏾
Lenacapavir protects against HIV only.
It does NOT: ❌ Prevent other s*xually transmitted infections (STIs)
❌ Prevent unintended pregnancy
That is why we must continue to promote DUAL PROTECTION.
✔️ Use condoms to prevent STIs and pregnancy
✔️ Use HIV prevention methods like Lenacapavir
✔️ Make informed choices about family planning

In a country like Kenya where we continue to fight new HIV infections and teenage pregnancies, condoms remain one of the most accessible and effective prevention tools.
