WHO WE ARE
Blessed Team Foundation Kenya is a Christian community-focused initiative founded by Pst. John Murithi Muthamia with a passion for serving vulnerable people, prisoners, former prisoners, and families affected by incarceration.
Our mission is to bring hope, dignity, spiritual encouragement, practical support, and opportunities for a better future to people who are often overlooked or struggling to rebuild their lives.
We believe that every person deserves an opportunity for restoration and a new beginning.
OUR KEY AREAS OF WORK
1. Prison Ministry
We reach incarcerated people with Christian encouragement, prayer, counselling, discipleship, and practical care. Our desire is to remind prisoners that their circumstances do not have to define their future.
2. Re-entry & Reintegration
We support people returning to society after incarceration by encouraging them to rebuild their lives, reconnect with their communities, develop practical skills, and pursue honest livelihoods.
Where possible, we seek to provide or connect individuals with small tools and resources related to skills they have learned, helping them turn those skills into sustainable opportunities.
3. Support for Vulnerable People and Families
We respond to the needs of less fortunate individuals, elderly people, vulnerable families, and communities facing difficult circumstances through practical assistance, encouragement, and compassionate outreach.
4. Children Affected by Incarceration
We have a vision of developing a rescue and support center for children whose parents are incarcerated, providing a safe environment where vulnerable children can receive care, encouragement, education, spiritual guidance, and opportunities to grow.
5. Christian Outreach & Bible Distribution
We seek partnerships to provide Bibles and Christian materials to prisoners, churches, families, and communities that have limited access to these resources.
OUR VISION
To see prisoners, former prisoners, vulnerable families, and children affected by incarceration restored to hope, dignity, faith, and productive lives, while helping transform communities through practical love and the message of Jesus Christ.
OUR MISSION
To serve vulnerable people through prison ministry, counselling, discipleship, re-entry support, practical assistance, skills development, Christian outreach, and community-based initiatives.
WHY PARTNERSHIPS MATTER
The needs we encounter are greater than what one organization can address alone. We therefore welcome partnerships with:
- Churches and Christian ministries
- NGOs and charitable organizations
- Foundations and grant makers
- Individuals and families
- Businesses and corporate partners
- Prison and re-entry organizations
- Bible and Christian-resource ministries
- Skills-training and livelihood organizations
Partners can support through financial assistance, Bibles and Christian materials, food and essential supplies, skills equipment, training, mentorship, volunteers, and strategic partnerships.
OUR HEART
We are committed to serving people not simply by meeting an immediate need, but by helping them move toward restoration, independence, dignity, and hope.
A prison sentence should not be the end of someone's story. A difficult childhood should not determine a child's future. And poverty should not remove a person's dignity or opportunity.
Blessed Team Foundation exists to help bring hope where there is hardship and a new beginning where life has been broken.
