Strong organizations are built through continuous reflection, learning, collaboration, and informed action.

Victoria Friendly Montessori - VFM Kenya successfully held its Quarterly Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Review Meeting, bringing together staff from across all departments to review performance, share lessons learnt, strengthen collaboration, and plan for improved program delivery.

The meeting featured expert sessions on Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), Project Management, and donor reporting, emphasizing the importance of quality data, measurable results, accountability, and evidence-based decision-making. Staff also reviewed the continued use of the Donor Smart ERP System to strengthen coordination, data quality, and timely reporting.

Together, we reaffirmed our commitment to building a stronger MEAL system that transforms data into evidence, evidence into action, and action into lasting impact.

Transforming Lives Through Clean Water – Join Us for Phase 2

We are proud to share that *mKamasengre Community Water Project – Phase 1 has been a resounding success!

✅ 330 households now have direct water connections
✅ 450 households access clean water through communal points
✅ 5 public schools and institutions are now serving hundreds of children with safe water

This is more than infrastructure — it’s improved health, dignity, education, and opportunity for an entire community.

Now, we’re ready for Phase 2

Our next step is critical:
To extend clean and reliable water access to approximately 6,000 people in Kamasengre East

This expansion will:
- Reduce waterborne diseases
- Save time for women and children
- Improve school attendance
- Strengthen local economic activity

Service provision and scheme maintenance are handled by Maji Milele Ltd, a private water company ensuring efficiency, accountability, and long-term sustainability.

We are proud to announce a generous donation from Farms Ltd to Victoria Friendly Montessori School.
A total of 200 kilograms of fish has been donated, ensuring that two full school lunches are covered for our learners. This contribution goes a long way in supporting the nutrition and well-being of our children.
