We were happy today to host the CEO Healthy Entrepreneurs and family at the Vibez community hall taking them through our different activities and initiatives in our community. Present in our engagement were Community Health Promoters from Mabatini Ward where we explored how the CHPs can create business opportunities among themselves at the same time providing basic quality healthcare at the community level in a scalable and sustainable model.

We were able to host the VIBEZ FESTIVAL event a celebration centred on food and culture. We also had a dialogue with members of the community on the rights available on food and also dug deeper on the state of food sovereignty among our community members. The festival brought together community members across all ages, food vendors, community health promoters(CHPs) as well as youth led organisations.

The Vision Bearerz YOUTH GROUP hosted the VIBEZ FESTIVAL on the 6th of December, a community centred celebration on food and culture. Together with our partners Voices4Change we were also able to have a community dialogue on Food Sovereignty helping our community members understand their food chains and own them. We also dived into food justice and enlightened our community members on the available food rights. In attendance at the festival were youth-led organisations in Lea Mathare Foundation-Kenya Future Hope Response Team Vision Thinkerz YOUTH GROUP , Community Health Promoters and also food vendors not forgetting support from GhettoFoundation Mathare HERI Foundation and the community at large.
