Endless plains, endless life.

This Easter, our southern landscapes have come alive with an incredible sight vast herds of zebras and topis spread across the open grasslands. A true testament to the richness and balance of Mara North, where nature still thrives in its purest form.

Moments like these remind us how precious and powerful these ecosystems are where every hoofbeat tells a story of survival, harmony, and abundance. To witness such numbers of herbivores grazing freely across the plains is nothing short of magical.

Up in the branches, Ndoto and Namunyak are doing what leopards do best, turning a tree into a living room. While Ndoto takes her well-earned rest, Namunyak is all freedom and play: shifting, stretching, and bouncing with that carefree cub energy.

And if you look closely, you’ll catch her signature touch-that rare white paw🐾, a little mark that makes her unmistakable

🇰🇪 Happy Mashujaa (Heroes) Day 🇰🇪

Today, we join the nation in celebrating the brave men and women who fought for Kenya’s freedom and self-rule. Their courage and sacrifice laid the foundation for the peace and unity we enjoy today.

At Mara North Conservancy, we honor their legacy by continuing the fight — not on the battlefield, but in protecting our land, wildlife, and natural heritage for future generations.
Every tree conserved, every species protected, and every community empowered keeps alive the spirit of our heroes.

To all our heroes — past and present — we salute you.

Rotational Grazing = Balance for Nature

In our conservancy, rotational grazing isn’t just about managing livestock it’s about restoring land, protecting wildlife, and sustaining communities.

✅ Over 16,000 herds thrive under this system
✅ Degraded areas have been rehabilitated
✅ Livestock & wildlife now co-exist in harmony

When nature is given time to breathe, both cattle and wild animals flourish together.

Ndoto – The Pride of MNC

For the past weeks, we’ve had the privilege of closely following Ndoto, a stunning leopardess in our conservancy, as she continues her lactation journey. Watching her strength, grace, and devotion has given our guests some of the most memorable experiences of their visits.

Every dawn, as Ndoto wakes from her resting place, and throughout the day as she moves silently across her territory, our dedicated ranger monitoring team has been right by her side — ensuring her safety and sharing these magical sightings with our guests. Their patience and commitment allow us to celebrate moments in the wild that many only dream of.

✨ Ndoto is not just a leopard; she is a story of resilience, beauty, and the magic of untamed Mara ecosystem.

📸 Grateful to our rangers who make it possible for us to witness such wonders, and to Ndoto for gifting us glimpses into her world.
