A little throwback to 2017

Our founder, Mike Wamaya, was a top ten finalist for the prize that year.

Now, the 2027 Global Teacher Prize is open for applications and nominations. Know an educator doing meaningful work? This could be their moment.

Turns out making a real difference is actually kinda chic✨💅🏼

Every day, children walk through our doors with the chance to create, move, belong and grow. Your support makes days like this possible.

This July 15th, on GlobalGiving July Bonus Day, we invite all of you to help us welcome even more children for three weeks of free dance classes in August when schools close.

Donate through our Kibera Ballet School on GlobalGiving where eligible gifts received a share of matching funds.

Keep Kibra Dancing

Our Kibera Ballet School is participating in this year's GlobalGiving Bonus Day on July 15th!

Our goal is to raise funds for 3 weeks of free dance classes during the August school break, giving children in Kibera a safe space to stay active, build confidence, express themselves creatively and keep dreaming through dance.

Every step counts. Whether you donate $10, $25, $100+, or simply share this post, you're helping young dancers continue to learn, grow and belong when schools close.

SAVE THE DATE: July 15
