Dakatcha Woodlands is one unique ecosystem located at the Kenyan Coast in Kilifi County. This is a recognised county forest though no formal protection has been secured for the forest. There is continued forest degradation and we therefore urge the community to promote sustainable natural resource use mechanisms. This will save the uniques species and also save the fast diminishing ecosystem services and goods being derived from the environment.
