ESYF–CBO RAMADHAN IFTAR PROGRAM – PHASE II

Alhamdulillah, Earlier today, We successfully carried out Phase II of our Ramadhan Iftar Program, where we distributed full Iftar food packs to 28 vulnerable households in Elwak who have been severely affected by recent drought.

Ramadhan is a month of mercy, compassion, and generosity. As we enter the last ten blessed days, the rewards of sharing and supporting those in need are even greater. The Prophet (PBUH) taught us that whoever provides food for a fasting person to break their fast will receive a reward similar to theirs without reducing the reward of the fasting person.

We sincerely thank everyone who responded to our appeal and contributed generously to make this noble initiative possible. Your kindness and support have brought relief and smiles to many families during this difficult time.

May Allah (SWT) accept your charity, multiply your rewards in these blessed nights, and grant barakah to you and your families. fans Mohamud Markoni Ahmed Abdullahi Tache Mohamed Fazul Leisuu Adam Kullow Ibrahim Suna Sambrosa Bin Aligey Ali Roba Foundation Senator Capt. Alhamdulillah — Today, at our 11th Annual Iftar Donation Program held at Elwak Youth Social Hall, we distributed Ramadan iftar food packages to 46 vulnerable households, including orphaned families. Drought Mitigation Efforts in Mandera County.

In our drought mitigation measures, ESYF-CBO has initiated water trucking for the most affected areas in Mandera County. This effort has been made possible by our dedicated activist, Mr. Hudeifa Harun, who participated in the Hugging Tree Challenge in Nairobi to advocate for our community.

Yesterday, we successfully delivered a water bowser to Bulla Lafey and Dadach Yaluran in Elwak South Ward.

The prolonged drought has severely affected vulnerable populations in our community, leading to significant food insecurity, where many families struggle to access adequate nutrition, resulting in malnutrition, especially among children and pregnant women. Water scarcity is a critical issue forcing residents to walk long distances in search of water, while livestock suffers from dehydration and poor health. Additionally, thousands of animals have perished due to the drought, diminishing livelihoods, and increasing economic hardships.

In light of these urgent needs, we at ESYF-CBO request your support for our water trucking initiative.

Breaking the Silence on Teenage Pregnancies.

As we strive to reduce teenage pregnancies, we must recognize that many young girls aged 13 to 19 are facing challenges beyond their control, including violence and abuse. It is crucial that we talk about these issues and the impact they have on their future.

Halima, the Executive Director of stated during the interview, “We need to break the silence, the myths, and the stigma surrounding sexual and reproductive health. Our community often shies away from these discussions, but it’s time to change that.”

Let’s come together to promote self-confidence and foster healthy relationships. By engaging in open conversations about sexual health and education, we empower our youth and build a supportive community.

ESYF Ramadan Iftar Appeal 2026

As we approach the blessed month of Ramadan, a time of reflection, compassion, and community, we are reminded of the profound impact we can have on the lives of those in need. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us that:

"Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in the reward of the fasting

This Ramadan, let’s come together to show our support for the vulnerable members of our community. Imagine the joy on the faces of those who break their fast with a warm meal, knowing that someone cares.

Your contribution of just 200 Bob can help us provide nutritious Iftar meals for those in need. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference in someone's life.

Together, we can ensure that no one has to break their fast alone.

Educating our community and Bodaboda riders on the "Triple Threat" is the key to a safer and healthier environment.

The intersection of New HIV Infections, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and Teenage Pregnancy threatens our future. By empowering our riders with knowledge on prevention and SRHR, we turn them into protectors of our youth and advocates for change. Mandera County Government ⁴⁴
