Lapel pins are popular among Freemasons for many reasons: to represent your lodge or any appendant bodies you're part of, to show support for a charity or cause, to keep track of lodges that you've visited or add a touch of personality to a basic jacket. Like a Masonic ring, it's something small that can be passed down through generations of Masons in one family, or from a mentor to mentee. With ladies pins and ones from Masonic youth groups, styling and collecting pins isn't only limited to Masons, either, but something that's open to the whole Masonic family.
