The organization engaged the youths of Kamoraliban location on undertaking an errand to clean waterways , canals of waterpans and streets and further educated on the importance of managing the environment.
The flotsam and debris littered and dumped on waterways were removed to overcome stagnation of water during rainy seasons that could have created adverse health effects . This economical approach will be standstill to help us curb pollution and waterborne diseases .

Today, LIBAN Humanitarian Agency officials,we paid a courtesy call to the office of the Deputy governor,Mandera, Dr Ali where we deliberated on various issues ranging from familiarising with the office to other developmental agenda.
We first congratulated the DG on his milestone victory in the recent election and thanked him and the Governor for the good gesture in making secondary schools free in the county.
We tabled our past records and initiatives as a CBO and the emerging issues.
The need for food donations to counter the effects of the ravaging drought and Ramadhan programs were among the top topics in our discussions.
The DG welcomed us and further encouraged us not to down our tools because of the deteriorating economy.
He promised to extend a helping hand and that his office is always open for such fruitful discussions.
